The Western Australian Institute for Medical Research (WAIMR) aims to provide its services, products and information as widely as possible within the community. Within the online services framework every effort has been made to ensure as few impediments exist as possible to allow people to use the web-based services.

The WAIMR website conforms to the HTML 4.0 and HTML 3.2 standards, and predominantly to the bulk of the HTML 2.0 standard. This means that WAIMR can be confident that the bulk of web users are able to accurately see and use the WAIMR website. This includes compliance with Internet Explorer versions 4 and above; Netscape versions 5 and above; Opera versions 7 and above and Mozilla versions 1.0 and above.

In conjunction with the World Wide Web Consortium standards the WAIMR website achieves compliance with Priorities 1, 2 & 3 for all web pages where possible. This ensures most recognised online service delivery disability issues have been dealt with appropriately.
